The Fruits of Autumn

I love to pick apples and pumpkins in the fall. Here are some pictures from the farm I visited.

The pumpkins grew on the side of this hill. Fortunately, they had people there to bring the pumpkins uphill for you in a little drivable cart. I don't think I could have carried such big pumpkins uphill. However, the skies above were beautiful and the weather was just right for picking.


They had a good year for pumpkins. I couldn't believe the size of the stems on many of these pumpkins.I can't wait to carve this beauty into an awesome jack-o-lantern.


These apples are just perfect. I'll be doing a lot of snacking and baking with these.

The leaves are already beginning to change color. In another week or two the trees will be putting on a full display of autumn colors.
