I found this cicada airing out his new wings. I usually find their shells lying around the garden, but I've never seen one coming out with its new wings like this before. I love his bright green color.

Oh my Gosh! I can't believe you caught these photos of it hatching out of its shell! When I was a child I used to collect the shells! (I know, pretty weird) but as a kid, I was always playing outside and had to have something to occupy my time... But Really, these are great shots!! Well done!!

AWESOME! These shows absolutely blow me away! I hear them around here ALL the time, but I haven't been able to find one to photograph. This is truly spectacular!
